About The Position

Essential functions of this job include, but are not limited to: Effectively orients and trains supervised employees in job duties. Conducts effective and timely performance evaluations and processes paperwork appropriately for supervised employees. Effectively addresses disciplinary issues with supervised employees; accurately and thoroughly documents and processes disciplinary actions in a timely manner and in accordance with policies and procedures. Ensures supervised employees meet minimum training requirements and monitors training attendance. Ensures that assigned staff meets minimum standards for training while being mindful of needed improvements in quality. Processes payroll and handles time card issues for supervised employees. Communicates policy decisions to the supervisors and staff of the assigned program(s) in an effective manner. Disseminates program policies and procedures pertinent to the delivery of program services. Assists with the development of program goals and objectives. Designs, develops, and coordinates management of programs and projects for implementation of treatment objectives with consideration of Agency and departmental needs, considerations of staff input and suggestions, and with approval of the Clinical Manager/Clinical Director. Informs the Clinical Manager/Clinical Director of programming needs and problems. Participates in decisions regarding the hiring, retention, promotion, and dismissal of assigned staff.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree preferred with an independent license (LICDC, LISW, or LPCC).
  • LCDC III, LSW, or LPC with two (2) years’ experience in substance use field and one (1) year supervisory experience required with education commensurate to licensure.
  • Familiarity with confidentiality regulations (42 CFR, Part 2), governing the disclosure of client information and the storage of client records, and with the appropriate professional codes of ethics.
  • Maintains the required licensure/certification in good standing.
  • Must have the cognitive skills needed to complete tasks, including abilities such as learning, remembering, focusing, categorizing, and integrating information for decision making, problem solving, and comprehending.
  • Must have the ability to simultaneously address multiple complex problems and multi-task without loss of efficiency or accuracy.
  • Must be able to perform effectively and efficiently under high stress, emergencies, and conflict situations.
  • Must have the ability to effectively work with Agency employees, outside contacts and a diverse client population.
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship.
