Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 7:00 am - 5:00 pm local time. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. This will be paid on the job training. The hours during training will be 8:00 am - 5:00 pm CST, Monday - Friday, remote.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent years of work experience
  • Must be 18 years of age OR older
  • 2+ years of experience in a health care setting / industry
  • Experience with medical claims processing OR research
  • Experience with Microsoft Word (creating document OR editing existing document)
  • Microsoft Outlook and Adobe PDF experience
  • Familiarity with medical terminology
  • Ability to work full-time. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 7:00 am - 5:00 pm local time. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.

Nice To Haves

  • Clerical OR administrative support background
  • Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codes
  • Experience with the following claims platforms: UNET, CPA/Cosmos, CSP/Facets, Cirrus/USP, UHCW/NICE
  • Experience with Data Entry

Responsibilities

  • Review, research and assist the clinical staff with setting up documents/triage cases for Clinical Coverage Review
  • Be efficient, productive, and thorough dealing with our member’s claims
  • Constantly meet established productivity, schedule adherence, and quality standards while maintaining good attendance
  • Works with team to solve complex problems
  • Prioritize and Multi- task and ability to work in a Team oriented environment
  • Other duties as assigned by manager and/or director
