About The Position

Assists with the coordination and preparation of new employee First Day Experience and onboarding activities. Creates and maintains employee profiles, training assignments, and education records in Relias, Elsevier, and other designated systems. Maintains spreadsheets, tracking tools, and reports related to employee education, training, and compliance requirements. Maintains department and shared calendars, coordinates meetings and schedules, prepares agendas and minutes, and assists with related administrative activities. Assists with the planning, preparation, setup, and takedown of First Day Experience activities, BLS courses, skills labs, meetings, and other educational programs and events. Creates and prepares documents, presentations, handouts, training materials, spreadsheets, and other resources to support Clinical Educators and department activities. Provides administrative and logistical support for Leadership Foundations, Gallup programs, and other leadership development activities. Travels to Midland Care locations to assist with employee onboarding, education activities, training setup, and support for new or expanding locations. Assists with TB testing, N95 fit testing, employee health screenings, and related documentation in accordance with organizational policies and applicable scope of practice. Maintains accurate and confidential employee health and education records. Assists Clinical Educators with training activities, skills labs, and competency-related preparation and documentation. Maintains department files, reference materials, procedures, and other organizational resources. Coordinates ordering, inventory, and maintenance of educational supplies, equipment, and materials. Compiles data, prepares reports, and assists with audits and quality improvement activities as assigned. Provides administrative support for student and internship activities as assigned by the Clinical Educator responsible for the program. Communicates and collaborates with department leaders, employees, and other organizational departments to support Education and Employee Health activities. Participates in department meetings, organizational initiatives, and other assigned activities.

Requirements

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license, automobile liability insurance, and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) per Midland policy.
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Current, unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license; must obtain a multistate LPN license within three months of hire.
  • Strong organizational, communication, computer, and independent workflow management skills; ability to maintain accurate confidential records.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and ability to learn designated education and employee health systems.
  • Ability and willingness to travel between Midland Care locations as assigned.
  • Ability to proficiently utilize organizational software to complete all aspects of job duties.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in employee or occupational health, clinical onboarding, or healthcare education support.
  • Experience with learning management systems, training records, and scheduling or coordinating education events.
  • Experience with TB testing, respiratory protection processes, and employee health documentation.
  • BLS Instructor certification or willingness to obtain if assigned.
  • Experience in hospice, home health, PACE, or community-based healthcare.
