About The Position

The Clinical Admin Coordinator is responsible in obtaining newborn baby information for maternity cases which in turn is used to update the pregnancy outcome assessment report. This role is 80% non-voice and 20% voice. Requirements

1+ years of experience in healthcare environment
Experience working with Microsoft Word (creating, editing, saving documents) and Microsoft Excel (creating, editing, saving spreadsheets)
Experience working with a PC and windows applications
Professional English proficiency
Willing or ability to work 40 hours / week during standard business operating hours Monday - Sunday from 8am - 7pm Central (It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime on weekends and holidays)
In accordance with business needs, you may be required to undergo cross-training

Nice To Haves

1+ years of experience in a call center setting environment
Professional experience in a clinical, clerical, or administrative support related role
Any experience working within the healthcare industry
Working knowledge of medical terminology

Responsibilities

Manage daily census, close normal delivery cases per Federal Mandate, gather newborn data, and report required data elements
Calling providers to verify delivery information and discharge dates, and responding back to providers on a daily basis with authorization numbers
Input data (newborn and KICK data elements) and research to gather additional information when necessary
Ensure accuracy of FLASH bi monthly. With some Health Plans, this function includes assistance with enrollment of newborns as required
