Requirements
- Successful completion of a nursing education program required
- 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse required
- RN - Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California required
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
- 5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with the ability to work with interdepartmental teams preferred
Responsibilities
- Collecting, analyzing, and submitting accurate, reliable clinical data to program-specific registries.
- Supporting quality improvement initiatives through precise data screening, documentation, and entry into designated clinical databases.
- Collaborating closely with physicians and other clinical staff to identify improvement opportunities and contribute to special projects.
- For positions assigned to the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery program, identifying and abstracting 100% of all metabolic and bariatric procedures performed at the facility into the MBSAQIP Registry, ensuring complete and accurate reporting in accordance with program standards.
