About The Position
Savannah Vascular Institute, a large vascular surgery physician group practice, is seeking clinic/triage support. This position supports the surgeons in daily clinical practice. Phone triage of vascular patients includes pre and postsurgical questions, medication refills, wound complications, FMLA/disability paperwork, prior authorizations, etc. Provides patient education and counseling under the direction of the physician. Assists physician with examinations and procedures. Some occasional day travel to satellite offices.
Requirements
- Wound care experience
- EMR software experience
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Enjoys working with geriatric patients
- BCLS required
Responsibilities
