About The Position

The Clinic Technologist performs EKGs, phlebotomy, and radiographic examinations as ordered by health care providers, following established procedures and documenting the work in the Electronic Medical Record. The role may also involve applying Event monitors. The technologist assesses and provides appropriate treatment to patients ranging from neonates through adults, communicates effectively with patients, families, visitors, and hospital personnel, and obtains and enters patient demographic and insurance information for registration. The position requires the ability to handle stressful situations and heavy workloads. Duties and responsibilities may change at any time with or without notice.

Requirements

• Successful completion of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Registration with the ARRT upon hire.
• BLS certification required or to be obtained within one month of hire.
• Ability to use interpersonal communication skills effectively.
• Ability to deal with stressful situations and heavy workloads.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist is preferred.
