These roles are ideal for candidates who value meaningful patient relationships alongside technical excellence. The Clinical Team Leader, MA/LPN provides team leader responsibilities for the clinic. This position ensures compliance with regulatory, accreditation standards and Adena Health System policies and procedures. The incumbent provides direction for the clinical staff and participates in the workload as needed within his/her professional scope. The incumbent may also provide direction to clerical staff as needed. Decisions are made independently and/or in collaboration with the Manager, Clinic Staff and Operations and/or Director. This position has access to confidential information and functions under the direction of the Manager, Clinic Staff and Operations and/or Director.

Requirements

• Graduate of an Accredited Program in Medical Assistant OR LPN
• Certified Medical Assistant registered through American Allied Health (AAH), American Medical Technologists (AMT), Certified through American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or National Healthcare Association (NHA) OR Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with current Ohio License.
• De-escalation training within 6 months.
• Basic Life Support.
• 1-2 years related work experience in a medical office setting

Nice To Haves

• 3-5 years related work experience in a medical office setting.
• 1-2 years ICD-9 & CPT coding

Responsibilities

• Provides team leader responsibilities for the clinic.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory, accreditation standards and Adena Health System policies and procedures.
• Provides direction for the clinical staff and participates in the workload as needed within his/her professional scope.
• May provide direction to clerical staff as needed.
• Makes decisions independently and/or in collaboration with the Manager, Clinic Staff and Operations and/or Director.
