This is a Full-Time Position. The role involves recording patient information in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR), maintaining patient confidentiality, collecting and transporting specimens, preparing for procedures, and demonstrating knowledge of equipment and emergencies. The position requires collaboration with patient care planning, assisting providers with tests and procedures, starting IVs, assessing patients for safety and medication appropriateness, and accurately administering medication. The nurse will also be responsible for identifying victims of abuse, maintaining compliance with regulations, using proper phone etiquette, caring for instruments, participating in mandatory in-services and staff meetings, and following MRH policies and procedures. Additionally, the role involves demonstrating knowledge of emergency preparedness, acting as a resource and liaison, completing assigned workload, and floating to other clinical departments as needed.
