The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the medical departments, the front desk operations. With a Quality, Customer First, and Compassionate approach, The Clinic Supervisor will work in collaboration and continuous partnership with providers, clinical staff, and community resources in a team approach to promote access to appropriate care in the goal of enhancing patient health. They will provide back-up assistance to clinical support staff, ensure departmental goals are met, and respond to and document patient clinical concerns as appropriate. The role involves communicating with facility management concerning cleaning and maintenance issues, and working closely with the Clinic Manager to ensure efficient and consistent compliance with clinical and operational policies and procedures. Additionally, the Clinic Supervisor will participate in pre-visit team-based planning, monitor utilization reports, ensure effective scheduling, and address patient needs through scheduling and triage. They will also participate in collaborative projects, planning of CQI measurements, and be responsible for recruiting and hiring employees, maintaining staff levels, and ensuring timely and objective evaluations of direct reports, including counseling, disciplinary actions, terminations, and new hire training and staff development. The role also includes assisting in the development and completion of new hire training and skills, reviewing training of current employees, motivating staff, and ensuring operations budget is within department/site budgets, including overseeing supply ordering.
