This position leads Medical Assistants and RN's in support of pediatric specialty outpatient clinics. People leadership and clinic experience preferred. The Clinic Supervisor RN will provide support in the delivery of quality clinical care, working closely with the healthcare team and physician to assure triage, telephone assessments, home therapies and patient visits are consistent with established guidelines. They will take a lead role in assisting the clinical team to meet/exceed CI goals, assist physicians and associates in managing patient registries, and ensure monthly office inspection checklists and other required audits are conducted in a timely manner. The role also involves ensuring AMG standing operating procedures are followed, overseeing approved site research activities, and demonstrating independent problem-solving and critical decision-making. The supervisor will hold clinical staff accountable to AMG rooming standards and ensure the timely management of EMR tasks, overdue orders, test result follow-up, and other patient follow-up. They will demonstrate appropriate action and take a lead role in emergency situations, assure timely response to emergency calls, and identify, evaluate, and resolve potential safety problems, including equipment maintenance issues. Additionally, the supervisor will collaborate with the manager/director and physician leadership to maintain a patient-centered environment, monitor data, and develop improvement plans to meet patient satisfaction targets. They will also be responsible for conveying a professional image, practicing Service Recovery, fostering a pleasant and professional environment, ensuring adequate clinical staffing, and evaluating service levels and operational procedures. In Human Resources, the supervisor will collaborate with the practice manager on HR functions, provide leadership to motivate associates, conduct regular staff meetings and daily huddles, document meetings, conduct performance reviews, demonstrate effective time management, problem-solving, collaboration, and conflict resolution skills, provide ongoing performance feedback, orient and train new associates, and assure all associates maintain certification and required continuing education units. The role also supports initiatives that enhance practice growth, promotes same day access, maintains an effective process for inventory control and medication supply utilization, and works to achieve revenue and cost targets. Finally, the supervisor will assist in creating and maintaining an operationally efficient and physician/provider friendly work environment, provide support to onboarding new physicians/providers, round with physicians/providers daily, solicit feedback, engage physicians/providers in improving processes, and assist with patient care and safety issues.
