Clinic Supervisor RN Women's Health
About The Position
Valley View's Women's Health Clinic is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) Clinic Supervisor! This is a full-time, day-shift position. The role oversees the daily routine patient activities in the clinic, working closely with staff and physicians to ensure patient flow, throughput, and other workflow processes are efficient. The supervisor assigns required work for clinical staff daily, ensures assignments are completed, and provides assistance when necessary. They also oversee the orientation processes for new staff members, coordinate training programs, in-service education, and competency programs for staff development. The position assists the Director with staffing, maintenance, and supervision of the clinic, and provides direct patient care as needed.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved and appropriately credentialed School of Nursing, (Associates, Diploma, or Bachelor’s Degree Program)
- Licensed RN in the State of Colorado
- BSN or Bachelors in appropriate discipline required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association required
- 5 years post graduate experience as an R.N.
- Substantial work exposure to ambulatory care clinics and cardiac patient populations is required
- At least 3 years Supervisory experience in a direct-line supervisory position
