About The Position

The Bangor Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC), located in Bangor, ME, is seeking a PRN Clinic Safety Liaison (Security Guard) to join their team. This role is crucial for maintaining a safe and secure environment within an Outpatient Opioid Treatment Program (OTP). The Clinic Safety Liaison is responsible for monitoring individuals and vehicles on clinic property, ensuring a safe atmosphere, communicating concerns to their supervisor, performing light maintenance, and conducting safety inspections of monitoring devices. This position offers early morning hours, contributing to a good work/life balance, and provides significant opportunities for professional growth within the industry.

Requirements

Must be comfortable with working in an opioid treatment program/recovery environment

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
Two years’ experience in security, corrections, or military is preferred.
Experience working in a healthcare or patient/customer facing setting preferred

Responsibilities

Assists, directs, and monitors all persons entering and leaving the Clinic property, including emergency vehicles and personnel.
Interacts with staff and patients in a professional manner at all times.
Monitors parking area (at minimum of twice per hour) and lobby to ensure that no loitering or misconduct takes place; reporting all concerns to director immediately.
Keeps accurate notes reporting within various systems as outlined by Clinic standards.
Communicates regarding incoming admissions, visits and deliveries to appropriate staff.
Performs light maintenance duties and repairs; including touch-up painting, emptying and picking up trash, changing light bulbs, cleaning spills and various repairs.
Performs regular safety checks, including smoke detectors, locked doors, alarm systems, etc.
May perform other duties as assigned.
