About The Position
The East Wareham Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC), located in East Wareham, MA, is seeking a part-time Clinic Safety Liaison (Security Guard). This role is part of Acadia Healthcare's Comprehensive Treatment Centers, a leader in medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for Opioid Use Disorder. The center offers a continuum of care including MAT, OBAT, IOP, and mobile treatment units, with a holistic approach that includes recovery coaching and community partnerships. The position offers early morning hours on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays, providing a good work-life balance.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
- Two years’ experience in security, corrections, or military is preferred.
- Experience working in a healthcare or patient/customer facing setting preferred
- Must be comfortable with working in an opioid treatment program/recovery environment
Responsibilities
- Monitor persons and/or vehicles entering or leaving the Clinic property.
- Provide support to ensure a safe environment.
- Communicate all concerns to their supervisor.
- Perform light maintenance and environmental services duties.
- Perform routine safety inspections of Clinic monitoring devices.
- Assist, direct and monitor all persons entering and leaving the Clinic property, including emergency vehicles and personnel.
- Interact with staff and patients in a professional manner at all times.
- Monitor parking area and lobby to ensure that no loitering or misconduct takes place; reporting all concerns to director immediately.
- Keep accurate notes reporting within various systems as outlined by Clinic standards.
- Communicate regarding incoming admissions, visits and deliveries to appropriate staff.
- Perform light maintenance duties and repairs; including touch-up painting, emptying and picking up trash, changing light bulbs, cleaning spills and various repairs.
- Perform regular safety checks, including smoke detectors, locked doors, alarm systems, etc.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
