About The Position

CHI Health, now part of CommonSpirit Health, includes over 150 clinics serving Nebraska and southeast Iowa. Our network offers a variety of Primary Care & Priority Care Services, including Family, Internal, Geriatric, and Pediatric Medicine, along with specialties to provide tailored care. This role supports healthcare teams by ensuring they have necessary resources and plays a crucial part in the patient experience and preparation for clinic visits. We are looking for individuals passionate about supporting others and enhancing patient experience. This position involves providing care for patients throughout their entire clinic experience, administering medications accurately and safely, completing thorough patient documentation, and practicing sterile or clean techniques for wound care. Our nurses collaborate on comprehensive screenings, risk assessments, and preventative health education. We seek nurses who enjoy working with all patient populations, understand administrative and clinical accountabilities, are comfortable with technology, adept at inpatient care coordination, and confident in their clinical knowledge. The ideal candidate is open to learning new skills, appreciates diverse perspectives, shows genuine compassion, and has the patience to explain provider instructions to patients.

Requirements

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN), LPN or CMA license that allows you to practice in our state
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (RN, LPN) or Medical Assistant
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required
  • Comfortable leveraging technology
  • Thorough inpatient care coordination
  • Self-assured in clinical knowledge and abilities

Responsibilities

  • Provide care for patients through their entire clinic experience
  • Administer medications accurately, safely, and consistently according to the patient’s plan of care
  • Complete thorough documentation on patients as required
  • Practice sterile or clean techniques for patients needing wound care/dressing change
  • Collaborate on comprehensive screenings, risk assessments, and preventative health education for patients
