This role is for a Float RN for MRMC Clinics. The position seeks individuals with unique talents and a commitment to a greater cause to join the Registered Nurse Clinic team.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current state RN license/ Current RN license from a participating state in National Licensure Compact
  • Current BLS is required

Nice To Haves

  • One year experience preferred
  • BSN Preferred, encouraged to obtain within 3-years of assuming role
  • RNs Certification in Ambulatory Nursing through the AAACN, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Have the knowledge of community health concepts, principles of ambulatory clinical nursing care, case management and care coordination
  • Assume responsibility and accountability for facilitating, communicating and collaborating with the healthcare team and the patient/ family
  • Utilizes best practice to maximize patient engagement and patient self-management efforts
  • Promote the optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act
  • Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission and core values
