About The Position

The Clinic Revenue Cycle Billing Clerk is responsible for assisting in all areas of the business office daily operations. This role requires strong organizational skills, effective time management, and the ability to maintain a high standard of work under pressure. The position involves handling billing issues in compliance with HIPAA guidelines, accurately balancing payments and charges, and verifying insurances. The clerk will also be responsible for entering payments into the billing system, working unpaid claim reports (AR), and filing claims. This role is crucial for the smooth functioning of the clinic's business office and requires integrity, trust, and a commitment to excellence.

  • 1-2 years of experience.

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving some variables in standardized situations.

  • Working unpaid claim reports (AR) for the assigned clinic.
  • Filing claims to primary and secondary insurances as needed.
  • Performing other duties assigned by Director, Clinic Manager, COO and/or CEO.
