About The Position
Rock Haven Specialty Clinic is seeking a part-time Clinic Registered Nurse for their Harrisonville, MO location. This role involves routine decision-making, including determining patient and physician needs, appropriate scheduling while accommodating emergent patients, and collaborating with receptionists on insurance information. The nurse will be responsible for patient education and making appropriate referrals. The position requires knowledge of nursing skills, patient triage, pharmaceuticals, equipment operation, insurance requirements, disease processes, and regulatory requirements. Strong organizational, problem-solving, communication, and multitasking skills are essential, as is the ability to act independently and utilize critical thinking for issue identification and solution collaboration.
Requirements
- RN degree
- Currently licensed in the state of Missouri.
- BLS required.
- Knowledge of nursing skills; patient triage, pharmaceuticals, operation of equipment, insurance company requirements, disease processes and regulatory requirements.
- Organizational and problem-solving skills
- Effective professional and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize patient assessment and nursing care
- Ability to act independently.
- Use of critical thinking skills to identify, analyze and prioritize issues.
- Assist in identification of solutions in collaboration with others.
Responsibilities
- Assess, Plan, Implement and Evaluate patient care.
- Provides patient education.
- Assists provider with all procedures and carries out orders.
- Manages telephone calls, faxes, and messages.
