This is a Full Time Position. The role involves recording patient information in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR), maintaining patient confidentiality, collecting and transporting specimens, preparing for procedures, and demonstrating knowledge of emergencies and equipment. The nurse will collaborate with patient care planning, assist providers with special tests and procedures, start IVs, monitor IV fluids, assess patients for safety and medication appropriateness, and accurately administer medications. The position also requires identifying victims of abuse, maintaining compliance with regulations, utilizing proper phone etiquette, caring for instruments, participating in mandatory in-services and staff meetings, and following MRH policies. The nurse will act as a resource person, a positive team member, participate in process improvement, and serve as a liaison between patients, families, providers, and staff. Additionally, the role includes completing assigned workload, floating to other clinical departments as needed, and performing other duties as assigned.
