Requirements
- Must have a license or limited permit in the state of NY (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, PHD, PsyD)
- 2-3 years of experience in a mental health clinic
- Warm, empathic personality and excellent communication skills
- Cultural competence, ideally representative of the cultural and ethnic populations most likely encountered in Queens.
- Excellent interpersonal personnel and organizational skills
- Documentation, assessment and writing skills
- Ability to perform multiple tasks
- Ability to work effectively as part of the clinical team
- Two evenings or one Sunday and one evening is required
Nice To Haves
- Experience in evidence based model is a plus (excellent training and supervision provided)
- Language capacity in Hebrew, Yiddish, Russian a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and family psychotherapy on-site to children, adults and families
- Utilize evidence based practice models in treatment
- Maintain full caseload of kept weekly appointments
- Document progress and results of treatment in a timely manner
