Psychotherapist
About The Position
Provides outpatient psychotherapy services to clinic patients and their families; maintains an independent caseload composed of a variety of behavioral health issues and psychiatric disorders; utilize a breadth of knowledge in psychotherapy to provide assessments and evidence-based interventions. Functions as part of an interdisciplinary team. This vacancy is not eligible for sponsorship / we will not sponsor or transfer visas for this position. During the selection process, you may participate in an OnDemand (pre-recorded) interview that you can complete at your convenience. During the OnDemand interview, a question will appear on your screen, and you will have time to consider each question before responding. You will have the opportunity to re-record your answer to each question - Mayo Clinic will only see the final recording. The complete interview will be reviewed by a Mayo Clinic staff member and you will be notified of next steps.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or closely related field
- Two years supervised therapy experience in mental health including diagnostic assessment, individual, group and family therapy
- Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance
- Available to work one evening a week
- Active MN license as a LP, LPCC, LPC, LMFT or LICSW
Nice To Haves
- Clinical experience with the population to be served. (i.e. Eating Disorders, Senior Population, etc.)
- Basic computer skills
- Demonstrates knowledge of age and developmental issues specific to the population treated
