We are seeking a full-time (40 hours per week) Clinic/Practice Assistant to join our team at our 700 Central Avenue location in Dover. This position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm. We’re committed to delivering the highest level of care with a smile, and we’re looking for people like you to help us do so! Clinic/Practice Assistants play an integral part in the operations of our community-based physician practices. Dedicated to administrative support, our Clinic/Practice Assistants serve as the gatekeepers of our practices and ensure that teams are delivering the highest quality experience that exceeds our patients' expectations. We are looking for well-rounded customer service professionals who can multi-task, prioritize, and thrive in a high-volume outpatient setting! Other duties include fielding all incoming telephone calls and routing appropriately, performing referral/diagnostic/lab orders processing duties, monitoring patient flow and waiting room activity, and providing general support to practice leadership, clinicians, and peers. The ideal candidate is a strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills who thrives in a collaborative environment. They will bring strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both patients and colleagues to support a positive and efficient practice. Performs both administrative and clinical functions to support smooth and efficient clinical service or practice operations under close to general supervision. Performs basic clerical work and tasks that are repetitive and routine. Administrative duties related to patient visits including scheduling, check-in, check-out duties.
