Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a busy clinic environment.
  • Professional, compassionate, and welcoming demeanor.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous healthcare, medical office, or patient access experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit.
  • Check patients in and out accurately and efficiently.
  • Schedule and coordinate patient appointments.
  • Verify insurance eligibility and benefits and obtain required authorizations.
  • Complete new patient registration and intake processes.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with questions and scheduling needs.
  • Collect copayments, deductibles, and other applicable over-the-counter payments.
  • Maintain accurate patient demographic and insurance information.
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative team members to support efficient patient flow.
  • Protect patient privacy and maintain confidentiality in accordance with organizational policies and applicable regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the needs of the clinic.
