Wentworth Health Partners Coastal Neurology Services has been providing adults and children with comprehensive and trusted care since 1983. Our board-certified physicians specialize in the prevention, diagnosis and management of an array of neurological disorders, including headaches, epilepsy, autism, ADHD, neuromuscular disease, neuropathy, sleep disorders, small-fiber polyneuropathy, stroke and more. Our Neurology practices are located at 10 Members Way in Dover, NH, and 73 Corporate Drive, Portsmouth, NH. We are seeking a 40-hour Clinic/Practice Assistant to join our Neurology team Monday through Friday from 8:30am-5pm. Clinic/Practice Assistants play an integral part in the operations of our community-based physician practices. Dedicated to administrative support, our Clinic/Practice Assistants serve as the gatekeepers of our practices and ensure that teams are delivering the highest quality experience that exceeds our patients' expectations. We are looking for well-rounded customer service professionals who can multi-task, prioritize, and thrive in a high-volume outpatient setting! Other duties include fielding all incoming telephone calls and routing appropriately, performing referral/diagnostic/lab orders processing duties, monitoring patient flow and waiting room activity, and providing general support to practice leadership, clinicians, and peers. We do our best to keep all employees in their assigned practices and locations; however, you may also be asked to float to other departments in the WHP system when appropriate and needed during times of staffing shortages/other extenuating circumstances for cross-coverage purposes and to ensure adequate coverage and support. Job Summary Performs both administrative and clinical functions to support smooth and efficient clinical service or practice operations under general supervision. Performs basic clerical work and tasks that are repetitive and routine. Administrative duties related to patient visits including scheduling, check-in, check-out duties.
