Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Certifications/licenses as applicable to their area of responsibility
  • Three (3) years of experience in a healthcare setting, or service industry.
  • Demonstrated competency with an EHRS system.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to manage multiple deadlines and decision-making responsibilities.
  • Above average organizational skills and computer skills.
  • This job requires access to confidential and sensitive information, requiring ongoing discretion and secure information management

Nice To Haves

  • Two (2) years of experience in administration and supervision of staff preferred.
  • (English/Spanish) fluency is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise support staff and ensure adherence to department policies.
  • Manage work schedules, PTO, and unpaid leave for support staff.
  • Provide EPIC support and ongoing training as an EHRS super-user.
  • Promote feedback and collaboration to enhance services.
  • Participate in interviewing, hiring, and evaluating staff members.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching/disciplinary actions.
  • Track key performance indicators to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and maintain service line reports.
  • Coordinate patient access management and streamline scheduling workflows.
  • Monitor provider schedules for efficiency across sites.
  • Provide feedback on workflows and support performance improvement projects.
  • Manage locum and per diem provider coverage in collaboration with leadership.
  • Address patient complaints and monitor operational metrics.
  • Participate in monthly leadership meetings and present strategic plans.
  • Establish relationships with community partners and collaborators.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
  • Oversee departmental orders, supplies, and equipment maintenance.
  • Participate in the Performance Improvement Program.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
