This is a full-time, 100% remote position for a Clinic Office Assistant within the Disability Team at Atrium Health OBGYN. The role involves providing administrative and clerical support, including patient interaction, scheduling, record management, and communication. The Clinic Office Assistant will greet patients and visitors, collect co-payments, and respond to inquiries. They will manage calendars, coordinate meetings and travel arrangements, and schedule patient appointments, ensuring information is accurately entered into the computer system. This role also includes triaging clinical calls, assembling and releasing medical records, and working with the Medical Records Department. Additionally, the assistant will generate reports, manage mail distribution, operate office equipment, and order supplies. Responsibilities extend to completing referrals, tracking re-authorizations, processing patient registration, and potentially handling billing forms. Maintaining logs and reports, performing simple calculations, and assisting with data compilation for reports and meetings are also key duties.
