Requirements

  • Current CA Registered Nurse License
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • One (1) year of supervisory experience
  • One (1) year of nursing experience

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English
  • Previous Nurse Supervisor/Nurse Manager Experience

Responsibilities

  • Renders professional management to the clinical operations of the Center for Family Health in support of medical care as directed by medical staff and pursuant to objectives and policies of hospital.
  • Coordinates patient care planning with other departments and centers.
  • Collaborates with the Center Manager as issues arise.
  • Ensures patient flow in the department is overseen.
  • Creates Assignments for Staff.
  • Reviews patient assessments for completeness.
  • Participates in Performance Improvement activities are performed in a timely, and self-motivated manner.
  • Monitors charges, billing, daily patient schedules and statistics
  • Reports productivity and statistics as requested by the Clinic Manager.
  • Orders supplies.
