About The Position

Join our Family Medicine Care Team Float team and experience variety, teamwork, and patient care for all ages. As a Clinic Nurse, you will deliver compassionate care to patients from newborns to seniors, supporting multiple Family Medicine practices within your Care Team. This dynamic role involves preparing patients for exams, gathering health histories, assisting providers with procedures, conducting point-of-care testing, documenting patient care, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. You will also handle clerical duties such as patient registration, scheduling, and telephone communication, playing a vital role in the entire patient experience. This is a Care Team Float position based out of Deaconess Clinic Family Medicine - Bristow. Care Team staff primarily float between practices within their assigned Care Team and may assist other Care Teams as needed. Float staff will receive a Float Differential based on years of service and mileage reimbursement from their home practice location, where applicable.

Requirements

CMA: Must have successfully completed at a minimum, a certified/registered medical assistant program
CCMA: Completion of a Medical Assisting certification program
LPN: Must have successfully completed an accredited licensed practical nurse training program with current registration in Indiana required
CPR Provider-C required

Nice To Haves

One year of experience in a physician office/outpatient clinic (for CMA)
One year of clinic experience required or completion of the CMA Resident program at Memorial Hospital (for CCMA)
