About The Position
Spencer Hospital is a rural hospital located in northwest Iowa employing over 500+ employees. Positions at Spencer Hospital are not affiliated with Avera; however, we collaborate to provide services to the communities we serve. Employment offers, if accepted, are exclusively with Spencer Hospital. This position is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care in the ENT clinic. The role also involves scheduling patients and performing office administrative functions. The Clinic Nurse assumes responsibility for the outcome of nursing care during a specified work period and collaborates with all available nursing personnel to provide total patient care. A key aspect of this role is the knowledge of and utilization of appropriate age-related patient protocols relating to the physical and psychological needs of patients.
Requirements
- Must be a caring communicator, flexible, able to multitask and be comfortable with technological systems.
- IA LPN or RN license.
- BLS - onsite training available upon hire.
Nice To Haves
- Previous clinic nursing experience preferred.
