We offer more than 20 specialties and 100 convenient locations; with some clinics offering extended hours. Up to $5000 Sign On Bonus Offered Paid out in FULL after 30 days of employment! Location: Florence Family Clinic Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p, NO weekends, NO holidays & NO call! In healthcare, we all agree that support is a must in order to be successful. Requirements
- Graduate of a medical assisting program accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education (CAAHEP)
- Successfully completed Medication Aide 40-hour course or current/valid Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association

Responsibilities
- Performs general patient care following established clinic workflows.
- Greets and prepares patients for the health care provider by obtaining and recording vital signs, reviewing drug allergies and current medications, completing applicable screening questionnaires and documenting reason for visit.
- Collects and prepares ordered specimens for laboratory analysis.
- Prepares and provides ordered medications and/or vaccines to patients.
- Cleans and sterilizes instruments.
- Ensures patient exam rooms are stocked, clean, and orderly.
- Escalates non-routine issues, questions and/or concerns timely and appropriately.
- Ensures safety checklists and quality controls are completed as required and necessary action taken if indicated.
- Performs other duties within scope of role as assigned.
