Clinic Medical Assistant
About The Position
This position is for a Clinic Medical Assistant at UW Health in northern Illinois. The role involves working 100% FTE with a schedule of four 9-hour shifts and one 4-hour shift, with no weekend work required. The specific location is UW Health N. Main St. Clinic, 2909 N Main Street. Additional compensation may be available through evening, night, and weekend shift differentials, overtime, and on-call pay. Requirements
- Graduated from an accredited Associate degree program or Medical Assistant program or have at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
- Computer experience.
- RMA, AAMA, CCMA or NCCT certification is required upon hire.
- Bi-Annual CPR certification.
- Active RMA, AAMA, CCMA or NCCT certification must be maintained.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of professional experience in a clinic setting.
