About The Position
UW Health in northern Illinois is seeking a Clinic Medical Assistant to join their team at the UW Health Charles St. Clinic. This is a 100% FTE position, working Monday through Friday with shift hours between 7:30 am and 5:30 pm. The role does not require weekend or holiday work. Additional compensation may include evening, night, and weekend shift differentials, overtime, and on-call pay.
Requirements
- Graduated from an accredited Associate degree program or Medical Assistant program or have at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
- At least one year of professional experience in a clinic setting.
- Computer experience.
- RMA, AAMA, CCMA or NCCT certification is required upon hire.
- Bi-Annual CPR certification.
- Active RMA, AAMA, CCMA or NCCT certification must be maintained.
