About The Position

This position involves two potential roles: Medical Assistant or Medication Aide – 40 Hour. Both roles involve rooming patients, obtaining and documenting vital signs, and completing the rooming process for patients of all ages. Responsibilities include assisting nursing personnel with patient care as directed by leadership and/or providers within the scope of the respective role. Additionally, the position requires answering internal and external telephone calls for the clinic and performing other clerical duties as directed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Currently licensed as a Medication Aide – 40 Hour in the State of Nebraska
• Current CPR/BLS

Nice To Haves

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program
• Certified Medical Assistant preferred
• Previous physician clinic and EMR experience preferred

Responsibilities
