About The Position

The Clinic Manager serves to manage the day-to-day operations of the clinic team and coordination of the daily administrative and clinical functions of the clinic. Ensuring compliance with regulations. Assist with patient-centered care as needed. Represents Rescue Mission at partner meetings, speaking engagements and events as scheduled. On-Call rotation and evening clinic hours as scheduled.

  • Strong listening, as well as written & verbal communication skills to execute instructions, keep others informed and exhibit professionalism.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail/strong organizational skills to assist with multiple daily assignments and special projects.
  • Ambitious to exceed expectations.
  • A strong understanding of healthcare operations, management principles, community resources and patient care is crucial
  • Servant Leadership mindset to proactively manage team members and clinic operations in a timely, efficient manner with strong advocacy for unique needs of patients.
  • Ability to build strong relations and initiate conflict resolution early to avoid the need for de-escalation skills
  • Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in managing projects/daily assignments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office & Google products and email communications.
  • Working knowledge of HIPPA, OSHA and healthcare clinic guidelines and regulations.
  • Current active Pharmacy Tech, MOCA, and/or Dental Xray certifications; to be obtained within 6 months of hire.

  • Public Health or Healthcare Administration degree, helpful & preferred

Responsibilities

  • Serves to ensure timely, efficient, and respectful clinical services are provided with a patient-centered care approach in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Assist the clinic team with patient care as needed
  • Maintaining team dynamics, flow of patients in the clinic, compliance with healthcare regulations, data management & reporting, certification compliance for the clinic and team members, on-call rotation to support the clinic after-hours.
  • Street Outreach coordination and participation
  • Maintain a safe, secure and clean clinic.
  • Volunteer engagement, training and coordination of assignments.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by the leadership/management.
