Clinic Manager
About The Position
Smile Doctors is seeking a Clinic Manager to oversee clinic operations, including people management, driving growth, profitability, and patient experience. The Clinic Manager is responsible for achieving all profit and loss goals and participates in marketing activities to improve local brand reputation. This role partners with the Doctor to create a positive clinical culture, ensuring team behaviors reflect clinical excellence and high patient care standards. The ideal candidate will lead by example with professionalism, integrity, and a positive demeanor, ensuring the office culture reflects company values. They will ensure the clinic team is trained on and adopts new tools, protocols, and initiatives, and will understand and monitor Profit & Loss (P&L) statements to achieve monthly goals. The role involves building relationships within the local dental community and participating in local marketing efforts, managing controllable costs, and serving as a liaison between the Doctor and the team regarding work assignments, schedules, clinical priorities, and job performance. The Clinic Manager will also handle patient escalations and cover other roles in the clinic when business demands, while following established protocols for OSHA, HIPPA, and State Dental Board regulations.
Requirements
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidential information
- Immediate proficiency with software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- 2 years of clinic experience within Smile Doctors or affiliated practice clinic (Internal Candidates)
- High school diploma required
- 2 years of supervisory experience required (External Candidates)
- High school diploma required
- Strong coaching and conflict resolution skills
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed performance goals
- Strong time management skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize work
Nice To Haves
- Orthodontic or dental experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred
Responsibilities

- Covers roles in the clinic when business demands
- Follow established protocols to ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPPA and State Dental Board regulations
