As a Clinic Manager for Swope Health St. Joseph KidsCare Pediatric Clinic, you will lead a team of caregivers to provide care for the people who need it most. The Clinic Manager is responsible for the oversight of all operational aspects within the clinic with the goals of providing optimal patient experience, delivering high-quality care, and controlling costs. The Clinic Manager serves as a liaison between medical staff and other clinical staff coordinating the day-to-day operation of clinic services. Primary Functions: Provides leadership in the Clinic and serves as a role model within the organization; Participates in SH meetings, committees, and projects as required. Supports the key functions of the Clinic as a Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH). In partnership with Human Resources, interviews, hires, trains, and evaluates staff. Mentors and coaches' staff in their professional development and interpersonal relations, developing an effective teamwork approach, in partnership with clinic nursing and/or Director of Nursing. With the support of the Clinical Nurse Educator, coordinate, provide and document staff trainings, continuing education, competencies and monthly staff meetings. Approve/deny leave requests and review and approve timecards of direct reports. Provides oversight using routine audits of support staff performance of required job duties and documentation in the medical record. Using coaching, progressive corrective action and applying Just Culture principles, addresses staff performance and personal conduct issues in conjunction with the Director of Nursing and documents these actions. Produce/supervise scheduling and arrange daily assignment of duties for clinic staff to accommodate patient volume and Provider support to maximize service. Maintain regular and ongoing communication and oversight of clinic staff. Leads and role models patient experience efforts and communicates with patients who bring forth both complaints and compliments. Obtain, review, and develop action plans in conjunction with the Director of Nursing with clinic staff from patient feedback surveys. Successful Candidates will have: Current LPN or RN licensure required. Licensed in Missouri; Dual license preferred in MO & KS. 3-5 years of leadership experience in ambulatory care.
