About The Position

The Clinic Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing a safe environment for patients and staff by performing various maintenance duties. This includes patching, painting, light repairs, and pool maintenance. The role also involves assisting with ground maintenance, snow and ice removal, and operating an on-line work request system to complete work orders. Additionally, the technician may support patient care activities such as laundry, stocking supplies, and material distribution as time allows. Requirements

• High School Graduate.
• Maintain a valid driver's license.
• Have and maintain an acceptable driving record per Mercyhealth's HR.100 Fleet and Driver Safety policy.
• Maintain a valid driver's license and reliable transportation with proof of vehicle insurance when requested.
• Able to work independently or minimal supervision.
• Good interpersonal/communication skills.
• Good interpretive/analytical skills.

Nice To Haves

• Basic mechanical experience and computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing a safe environment for patients and staff as defined by applicable codes and standards
• Performs functions of patching painting, light repairs, and pool maintenance.
• Works cooperatively with Security and Cleaning personnel
• Assists in ground maintenance
• Performs snow and ice removal
• Proficient in using on-line work request system and completes work orders in a timely matter
• Performs duties as time allows, assisting and supporting patient care including but not limited to laundry duties, stocking and distribution of supplies, receiving and distribution of materials.
