About The Position

Responsible for providing a safe environment for patients and staff as defined by applicable codes and standards. Performs functions of patching, painting, light repairs, and pool maintenance. Works cooperatively with Security and Cleaning personnel. Assists in ground maintenance and performs snow and ice removal. Proficient in using on-line work request system and completes work orders in a timely manner. Performs duties as time allows, assisting and supporting patient care including but not limited to laundry duties, stocking and distribution of supplies, receiving and distribution of materials.

Requirements

• High School Graduate.
• Basic mechanical experience and computer skills preferred.
• Maintain a valid driver's license.
• Have and maintain an acceptable driving record per Mercyhealth's HR.100 Fleet and Driver Safety policy.
• Maintain a valid driver's license and reliable transportation with proof of vehicle insurance when requested.
• Able to work independently or minimal supervision.
• Good interpersonal/communication skills.
• Good interpretive/analytical skills.
