About The Position

The Clinic Nurse delivers patient care using the nursing process under physician supervision and must demonstrate population-specific competencies. The role follows applicable National Patient Safety Goals based on the level of patient contact. The position is with INTEGRIS Health Medical Group Primary Care Downtown in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Requirements

Current Oklahoma RN or LPN licensure, or a current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state.
BLS certification issued by the American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

Contribute to patient assessment and reassessment.
Participate in developing, implementing, and evaluating appropriate patient care interventions and plans of care, including medication administration when applicable.
Monitor for signs and symptoms related to abnormal laboratory values or changes from baseline assessments; monitor and document patient status.
Report changes in patient status to the physician and initiate new physician orders as directed.
Promote patient satisfaction and maintain patient confidentiality.
Participate in charge management to ensure chart accuracy for each visit.
Document patient information accurately and promptly in the medical record.
Report suspected abuse and refer patients and families to appropriate health or social resources.
Perform venipuncture, EKGs, waived testing, bone density procedures, X-rays, and other procedures as assigned by the physician, manager, or clinical supervisor.
Sterilize equipment after procedures.
Gather and document information about patient condition, including lab values, pain levels, education needs, nutritional status, and potential complications.
