About The Position

Adena Health is seeking a Clinic LPN or Cert-Reg Medical Assistant for Pickaway Ross Family Medicine. This full-time position (40 hours per week) focuses on providing comprehensive nursing care in a clinical setting under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), physician, or advanced practice provider (APP). The role emphasizes safe, patient-centered care in accordance with established clinical policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Tier 1 LPNs and MAs utilize foundational to moderate-complexity clinical skills and knowledge in their daily practice, contributing to optimal patient outcomes and efficient clinic operations. Responsibilities include direct patient care, administrative support, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team. The LPN/MA actively aligns with organizational values by delivering compassionate, respectful, and effective care and adheres to the scope of practice defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing or for Medical Assistants.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited program in Practical Nursing.
  • LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Ohio required.
  • Successful completion of a Medical Assistant Program.
  • Registered through American Allied Health (AAH), American Medical Technologists (AMT), Certified through American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA).
  • 1-2 years’ experience in medical office or similar capacity.

  • Experience in a similar capacity 1-2 years preferred.
