About The Position

Responsibilities Responsible for assisting physicians with patient care, clerical, environmental and organization tasks. Responsible for appointment scheduling and chart management. Provides Information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinic services. Conveys a positive image of organization. Delegates and follows up with medical assistant staff within the clinic. The Lead works under the Clinic Manager / Director to assist with maintaining efficient patient flow and quality care during clinic hours. This position assists the supervisors in training new staff. Works as part of a health care team including physicians, NP/PA’s, patient services representatives, medical records, medical assistants, health educators and social workers to provide comprehensive care in a non-judgmental manner. Qualifications EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1. Graduate of an accredited school for Medical Assistants, Surgical Technologists, or one year of experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician clinic setting. 2. Current BLS certification upon hire and maintained current. 3. Current medical assistant credential from a nationally recognized Medical Assistant Credentialing organization required. 4. One year experience as a medical assistant in a clinic setting preferred. 5. Lead/Management experience preferred. 6. Training/Preceptor experience preferred. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $23.10 to $33.46. Requirements
