Clinic Director Physical Therapist (PT) - Outpatient
About The Position
Lucas Therapies, a H2 Health company, is seeking a Clinic Director Physical Therapist (PT) in Salem, Virginia. This is a full-time, outpatient role that offers a hands-on leadership opportunity for a PT who wishes to continue treating patients while also shaping the clinical, operational, and team experience of an outpatient practice. The role involves influencing clinic growth, supporting team development, strengthening the patient experience, and taking ownership of day-to-day clinic success, all while maintaining clinical practice. The clinic offers a diverse outpatient environment with services including orthopedic rehabilitation, sports medicine, aquatic therapy, dry needling, post-concussion and vertigo care, Workers’ Compensation services, lymphedema therapy, and other specialty programs.
Requirements
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent legacy degree (MSPT/MPT/BPT) from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program
- Current Virginia Physical Therapist license or eligibility for licensure
- CPR certification, if applicable
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
Nice To Haves
- Outpatient Physical Therapy experience preferred
- Prior formal leadership experience is welcome but not required for candidates who demonstrate strong clinical judgment, initiative, and leadership potential
- Commitment to patient-centered care and team development
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized, evidence-based Physical Therapy evaluations and treatment
- Lead day-to-day clinical and operational performance
- Support, coach, and engage clinicians and clinic team members
- Help drive patient experience, clinical quality, and team development
- Partner with leadership on caseload growth, community relationships, and clinic growth
- Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, ownership, and excellent patient care
- Maintain strong clinical, documentation, and regulatory standards
