About The Position

Rehab 2 Perform is seeking a Clinic Coordinator to oversee the daily operations of their clinic. This role involves communicating and delegating to other staff, managing physical therapists' schedules, and ensuring outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate must be able to efficiently multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and scheduling software.
• Accurately and efficiently uses technology in the office (computer, scanner, iPad, credit card machine), and any software required.
• Customer service / relations experience.
• Willing to work under direction and take instructions and corrections.
• Ability to reason, to remember names and details of instructions.
• Must be alert, adaptable, and flexible.
• Professional manner; thoughtful of others, gentle and courteous.
• Ability to organize and prioritize as things change and the atmosphere is fast-paced.
• Experience using G-Suite products (i.e. Google Docs, Gmail, Calendar).
• Comfortable taking initiative (Self-starter).
• High school graduate or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge and use of PromptEMR, Revflow and other healthcare software is favorable.
• Superficial knowledge of the reasons for patient care including physiology, anatomy, and neurology is helpful, but not required.
• Previous experience in a clinical setting (hospital or physical therapy clinic) with an understanding of medical billing practices and medical terminology (CPT and ICD10 codes) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the clinic.
• Communicate and delegate tasks to other staff.
• Effectively manage the physical therapists' schedules.
• Prepare patients for treatment by collecting payments and paperwork.
• Perform housekeeping duties of the department/facility.
• Verify insurances and authorizations of visits.
• Delegate and coordinate tasks with other Clinic Coordinators, Physical Therapists, Site Directors, and Corporate Management.
• Accurately enter charges (copays, co-insurance, and bill payments).
• Review daily patient payments.
• Prepare and coordinate In-Services and Events with Site Director and Corporate Management.
• Perform clerical duties, such as taking inventory, ordering supplies, answering the telephone, or taking messages.
• Assist patients with paperwork when necessary.
• Communicate arrival of clients and help ensure timeliness of sessions.
• Multi-task job tasks and responsibilities with the ability to complete them in an expected timeframe.
• Maintain a neat and organized workspace and ensure cleanliness within the facility.
• Understand and assist in the patient's plan of care in regards to scheduling appointments, lost patients, and proactively rescheduling appointments.
• Follow up and review daily reports and proactively communicate the need for a prescription, authorization/referral/precertification to ensure no delays with patient care.
