About The Position

The Clinic Coordinator works within Renewal, Inc.’s Outpatient Mental Health Clinic and is responsible for coordinating the administrative and client-service functions necessary to support effective delivery of behavioral health services. The Clinic Coordinator serves as a primary point of contact for clients upon arrival and is responsible for greeting, instructing, and directing clients; ensuring required assessments, documentation and authorizations are obtained and maintained; checking clients into the appropriate system; verifying insurance or other funding authorization for services; scheduling and confirming appointments and follow-up appointments; and notifying clinical staff of client arrival. This individual will also assist and work with individuals in Renewal’s residential inpatient treatment units. The Clinic Coordinator facilitates communication among clients, medical providers, clinical staff, referral sources, and other providers to ensure continuity of care and that client needs are appropriately addressed. This individual coordinates and follows up on referrals, assists with obtaining required records and documentation, and supports the clinical team with administrative and care-coordination activities.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in human services, Social Work, Psychology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in behavioral health, mental health, substance use treatment, healthcare, or a related human services setting.
