Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Four (4) years' experience in a clinical setting.
• One (1) year of experience in a lead role.
• Ability to speak and write fluently in Spanish (highly preferred), Vietnamese, or an East African Language is valued.

Nice To Haves

• BA preferred.
• Experience serving patients from a wide range of backgrounds, including those who speak limited or no English is preferred.
• Experience working in a medical or dental clinic preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for patients in the School-Based Health Center (SBHC).
• Support clinical and non-clinical staff with essential administrative functions.
• Perform patient registration, check-in, and scheduling.
• Verify patient eligibility.
• Manage medical records.
• Process referrals.
• Collaborate with school staff to develop and maintain systems for student referrals, parent consent, and managing student flow for appointments.
• Assist with data tracking and reporting.
• Order and maintain inventory of office and medical supplies, including vaccines.
• Promote awareness of SBHC services to students, families, and the school community.
• Assist families with insurance eligibility and applications to reduce barriers to care.
