Requirements

High School graduate or G.E.D. required.
Experience in scheduling is helpful.
Experience in patient care or rehabilitation-related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinates clinic patient/therapy schedule. Requires ability to read and organize requests with staffing and other appointments.
Receives weekly requests from therapists. Coordinates requests with medical appointments, conferences, outings, etc.
Copies and distributes schedules to all therapists, Case Managers, Director of Rehabilitation, Receptionists, and others as needed.
Facilitates scheduling meeting at the end of each therapy day.
Coordinates scheduling new patients with Admissions Coordinator.
Performs note audits to ensure compliance with therapy note completion.
Assists in therapies as needed both clinically, residentially, and in the community. Works directly with patients in a variety of necessary treatment settings. Implements programs as indicated by a therapist. Requires visual ability to read programs, hearing to converse with patients, and ability to monitor patients’ behavior.
