About The Position

Arbor Baby Tree Service is seeking an experienced Climbing Arborist to join its professional tree service team. The role involves climbing trees to perform pruning and removals at residential and commercial properties while following ANSI standards, species-specific practices, and company guidelines. The arborist performs precise pruning and rigging work, including complex removals and maintenance, and ensures each job site is cleaned to company standards. The role also requires safely operating and maintaining tools and equipment and following all company safety rules and policies. The posting describes this as an immediate full-time opportunity with starting pay of $25 or more per hour, based on experience.

Requirements

At least 3 years of professional tree-climbing experience.
Advanced rope-system climbing skills, knot knowledge, and proficiency operating chainsaws and chippers.
In-depth knowledge of tree species and proper pruning practices.
Rigging and lowering skills for tree pruning and removals.
Familiarity with cabling and bracing methods in accordance with ANSI standards.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
