About The Position

Davey Tree Expert Company is seeking a dynamic Climbing Arborist Crew Leader to join their passionate team of tree care professionals. This role involves leading a crew in providing arboricultural care for clients, including pruning, thinning, removing deadwood, installing cables and bracing, and removing hazardous trees. The position offers an outdoor work environment with new views daily and opportunities for career advancement within an employee-owned company.

Requirements

Love of the outdoors
Ability to complete the Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program upon hire
Ability to complete the Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire
2-4 years of experience minimum

Responsibilities

Climb trees using DdRT/MRS and SRT/SRS climbing systems.
Safely and productively lead a crew in providing arboricultural care.
Perform pruning, thinning, and removal of deadwood throughout the tree canopy.
Install cables, bracing, and lightning protection systems.
Remove hazardous trees.
Mentor crew members through the Davey Career Development Program.
Properly maintain, prepare, and operate all tools and equipment including chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts.
