About The Position

Chapman BMW on Camelback is seeking a confident, customer-focused sales professional to join our Upgrade Center team. As Client Upgrade Sales Specialist, you will actively engage customers, identify vehicle upgrade opportunities, and guide clients through purchase decisions in partnership with our sales and service departments. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys initiating conversations, and excels at building strong customer relationships.

Requirements

  • Previous sales experience required (automotive sales strongly preferred)
  • Ability to confidently approach customers and initiate conversations
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (in person, phone, text, and email)
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Working knowledge of computer systems and Windows-based applications
  • Ability to quickly learn and navigate new systems and applications
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to safely drive or move vehicles
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Willingness to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screening

Nice To Haves

  • Former service advisor experience is a plus
  • CRM experience preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a strong plus

Responsibilities

  • Proactively engage customers and identify vehicle upgrade and purchase opportunities
  • Act as a liaison between the sales and service departments to support customer needs
  • Listen to, evaluate, and help resolve customer concerns using BMW systems and software
  • Partner with management, technicians, and service advisors to present the best upgrade or repair options based on customer needs and cost considerations
  • Assist customers who choose to purchase a new vehicle rather than repair their current vehicle
  • Order vehicles to customer specifications and maintain consistent communication through delivery
  • Process lease terminations and upgrade opportunities
  • Assist with other duties as assigned
