About The Position

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is seeking a Client Support Specialist for their Employee Health & Benefits team. This role provides day-to-day support to MMA clients, involving tasks such as reviewing plan documents and carrier certificates, assisting with the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, and creating benchmarking analyses. The specialist will also create employee communications (benefit guides, open enrollment presentations, posters, and flyers) and use BrainShark technology for voiceovers on PowerPoint presentations. Support will be provided by the Client Management team for tasks like comparing plans/rates and building/maintaining the benefits mobile app. The Client Support Specialist will also act as a representative for the Client Manager during carrier implementation and renewals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2 years previous administrative level experience required (bachelor’s degree required in lieu of 2 years administrative experience)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders

Nice To Haves

  • Providing problem-solving, consultation, advising and interpretation of policies and regulations related to Employee Health & Benefits
  • Intermediate knowledge of employee benefit markets and compliance preferred.
  • Life & Health License or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support for MMA clients.
